Set up your company
The ten minutes that make every ranking yours.
1. Company details
Open Company settings. Add your industry — it tells the engine which experience counts as industry experience — plus your city, website and brand colour for the careers page.
2. Write your hiring profile
Open Hiring profile and describe how you hire, one idea per line:
We value practical experience more than certificates. Candidates with real-world projects should rank higher. Frequent job changes are a concern. Communication skills are very important.
Click Save and re-rank. Each sentence becomes a rule you can see. Read more in Write your hiring philosophy.
3. Set your default weights
Still in the hiring profile, set how much each criterion counts — for example technical skills 30%, experience 20%, projects 15%. Jobs use these unless you change them per job.
4. Decide how CVs are read
In Company settings:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Read CVs with | Automatic uses a live AI model when credits allow and the built-in engine otherwise. Built-in engine only never spends credits. |
| Deep AI analysis | Only when you ask, or automatically for the top candidates of each job. |
| Acknowledgement emails | Email careers-page applicants that their application arrived. |
| Keep candidate data for | How many months untouched candidates are kept before they are anonymised. |
5. Invite your team
Open Team and invite colleagues with the right role. See Team members and roles.
